Take a Chance on Me

Pro bono coaching for domestic violence survivors.

At Clover Lane, we understand how impactful it is to have someone give you a chance in life. Someone to open the door to opportunity when it feels like you’ve just hit rock bottom. Someone to coach you along the way, helping you to realise your greatest potential. Someone to believe in you.

Each leaf represents Faith, Hope, Love and Luck. If we can keep all four of these qualities embedded within our core, we will succeed beyond measure, as we grow from one another” – Gill Holden, Clover Lane Consulting Founder/Director.

Clover Lane Consulting and Take a Chance on ME Coaching

As the Director and Founder of both, Clover Lane and Take a Chance on ME, my passion is not only offering an excellent employment service to my clients but also holding space for those that require a balance between the ‘then’ and the ‘now’ of career progression.

A place where the employment pathway is nurtured and balanced; where the employer has a greater awareness of the strength(s) of the team and where the employee receives appropriate training, guidance, and support. Our coaching offers the employee the opportunity to flourish as they navigate a career that would speak not only to their need to pay bills and survive, but more to where they have a deep soul investment and a fire within, to thrive.

I always had a vested interest in supporting others. If we were to believe that we had a vocation in life, mine would be that of a connector. Rising above adversity, I made many mistakes, yet, through those mistakes, I have managed to combine my learnings, and encapsulate the very essence of the building and forming of great teams, with the ability to ‘give a chance’ to those who may not have had the opportunity or, who may have steered off course, to offer an olive branch of hope and a way forward, in the direction of their dreams.

With my 20+ years of experience in People Management and following many years of learning the intricate needs of each individual client along the way, my extensive experience in the Business and Human Resource space, I have been gifted with the opportunity to combine my love for helping others with my strong desire and passion for Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Coaching.

Take a Chance on Me, coaches’ support all who have moved beyond the crisis, yet are still trying desperately to move forward, mostly due to the severe lack of self-worth, as they navigate life beyond adversity. A loss of self-worth is a feeling one rarely forgets, however, a feeling that can be overcome when coached and supported at each level.

We aim to increase employment opportunities for survivors, encouraging more employers to “Take a Chance” to contribute to the systemic family violence epidemic within our Australian communities.

I ask all industries to take part in this important initiative in recognition that we can all support the fight, we just have to know-how. If your organisation can open an employment traineeship and space for these survivors, I encourage you to reach out.

If you would like to become a sponsor of Taking a Chance on Me, or would like to know more, I encourage you to reach out.
